The water-based solution label on the sodium hydroxide container should have been a red flag, not an answer.

As of January 2025, the regulations I've mentioned are still current: OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) and the GHS labeling requirements. Also, Huntsman and Blue Monster both publish updated SDS files on their websites. But formulations change, so verify the SDS you have matches the lot you're holding.
